Over a year after

Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des

took off on Sahara One, producer-director Ajai Sinha is ready to roll out with two more shows over the next two months – one is a daily family drama, while the other is a comedy that may run once or twice a week, or on weekdays.

“The family drama is for Sahara One. It’s too early to divulge the plot but it’s a kind of drama that hasn’t been seen on TV so far. The storyline, I can promise, is ahead of its times, the way

Hasratein

and

Astitva

were,” asserts Sinha. The comedy show, he says, is for another leading channel, for which he is still in talks. “Till I don’t know which channel it will be for, I can’t give out more information.” The yet-to-be titled family drama is expected to be on floors this week.

Meanwhile, Sinha is repeating a track from his most popular daily

Hasratein

, in his current daily. The hero loses his memory and goes back to his first partner. When asked, Sinha justifies, “There are few things that don’t go out of sync ever. You see the sun rise and set everyday. But we don’t say that it’s repeating itself. Likewise, there are certain aspects of love stories that have repeat value and acceptance in a viewer’s mind.”
