Karan Singh Grover denied and then admitted that he’s married to Shradha Nigam. Hmm, maybe they were looking for a deal with OK or Hello! fortheir shaadi photos.

Vivan Bhatena married Nikhila Palat in traditional Mallu style.

Geetanjali Tikekar and Sikander Kharbanda married and had a baby too!

Barkha Bisht decorated her real life Doli with Indraneel Sengupta (who was impressive in 1920).

Rajeev Khandelwal made the TV industry’s sar ooncha with Aamir. Aamir Bashir was good in A Wednesday too. And don’t you dare forget Prachi Desai in Rock On!!

But 2008 also saw Arjun Punj in One Two Three and Shabbir Ahluwalia in Meeshunnn Eeestanboool. Sorry, bad memories!

Several TV actors were replaced: Twinkle Bajpai in Betiyaan, Iqbal Khan in Chhoona Hai Aasman.

What was that?
Paani Puri wrapped up in eight episodes flat. Wonder why? And of course there was Waaris which sacked its (second) lead actor Yuvraj Malhotra. Eventually, the show wrapped up.

Arslaan magically went off air.

Underdogs
Hamari Devrani broke all records previously set by Bhabhis and Kumkums.

Aap ki Kachehri, which replaced Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu thi, is very absorbing.

Saw too much of them
