After the news that television actor Deepika Singh, who plays Sandhya in

Diya Aur Baati Hum

, is getting married to the show’s director, Rohit Goyal, came out, there were rumours that she will quit the show.

However, her fiancé refutes it, saying, "She will continue to work. There is no doubt about that. I feel proud of her achievements and would love for her to continue."

Rohit, who has directed Deepika and co-star Anas Rashid’s love-making scene in the show, isn’t averse to his to-be wife’s on-screen romance.

I’ll address him as Sir even after marriage: Deepika Singh

"On set, she is Sandhya. We are true professionals. We keep our work and personal lives separate. We aren’t bothered by such scenes, and she isn’t working with co-actors who might make her uncomfortable," he says. The director also doesn’t have problems with Deepika being the bigger star.

"There are no ego issues between us. I’ve taught her a lot and I’m proud of her progress."

About their impending wedding, Rohit says, "A wedding happens once in a lifetime and, to find a life-partner of your choice is like a blessing. When we began dating, my intentions were clear. I knew that this relationship was for keeps."
