The finale of the third season of the reality show, Swayamvar, saw TV actor Ratan Rajpoot getting engaged to a Delhi-based software developer, Abhinav Sharma.

On Sunday, Rajpoot picked the 26-year-old resident of Mayur Vihar as her groom over Poland-based Anupam Singh Kushwah and Deepak Pandit of Jammu. Sharma is thrilled. “I am very happy, and so is my family. I love Ratan’s honesty and liveliness. Before getting married, I need to think about relocating, as Ratan will continue to work in Mumbai. Then, we need to work out our kundlis,” he says.

ratanRajpoot, who has acted in soaps such as Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, believes Sharma will prove a great husband. "He is the kind of life partner I had always dreamt of. He is mature and very honest, and we during the show we discussed how we’d build our lives and get to know each other better."

She adds, “Both Abhinav and I would like to spend some time with each other before getting married. The time we have spent together so far has only been in front of the camera, and now, we want to spent our time off it to understand each other in reality,” says Rajpoot, 26.

The previous editions of the show, which took off two years back, saw actor Rakhi Sawant, and then political scion and reality star Rahul Mahajan on a quest for life partners.
