It is amazing to watch people around you celebrate this day with spirit, doing little things to make each other happy. You come across lovely things like cakes, balloons and beautiful decor that warm your heart and remind you of this season of love. I hope to plan something interesting with my friends to celebrate this day.

It is not easy to comprehend the meaning of love. I believe love has many shades and dimensions. For me, Valentine’s Day is about spending the day with someone in your life. It doesn’t have to be your lover — it can be your friends or even siblings. This Valentine’s Day, I will spend time with my friends and family as I love them the most.

Valentine’s Day is there to simply remind us how to make people feel special. For me, this day is not just restricted to lovers but all the beautiful people who are related to my life in some or the other way. The best Valentine memory for me was when I wanted to wear a sari for a wedding and didn’t have a clutch to go with it. So, my mom bought a pretty Swarovski clutch for me, which I thought was very sweet of her.

I generally don’t celebrate V-Day. I like to keep myself busy on this day. Last year, I celebrated the day with my dad — he was my valentine. This year, my work would be my valentine and hopefully next year I will have a valentine. I sometimes feel people overhype this day and celebrate it, I often feel like they are in depression. If you love someone, everyday can be a Valentine’s Day.

My husband Mazhar and I are not the Valentine’s Day types. We instead celebrate everything related to love and wish to celebrate it as often as possible, than just on one particular day.

This Valentine’s Day is very special to me as I have bought a house for myself. This is the best gift I could have given myself. The best Valentine’s Day memory for me is when I was in class 12 , many guys used to propose to me and got me gifts, which made me very happy. I definitely miss having someone special in my life and hope to find someone by next Valentine’s Day, someone who is genuine, caring and loving.

Valentine’s Day is about spending the day with that special someone. It doesn’t have to be your lover, it can be your gang of girls, your best friend or even your sibling. This Valentine’s Day, I will be shooting for Madhubala and plan to go for a quite dinner with friends later. Also, I would like to wish all my fans a Happy V-Day.
