Film-maker Karan Johar has been known to play peacemaker in the film industry. But, his decision to pull in not-such-good-friends Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor, for an episode of the new season of his talk show, Koffee With Karan, created a stir of sorts.

However, Sonam doesn’t feel it is something that deserves to be hyped. The actor recently finished shooting for the supposedly controversial episode and, according to her, all went well. "Yes, that shoot is over and done with. And it was great fun, contrary to all the rumours," she says, denying all news that she ever had issues with Deepika.

SonamIt may be recalled that both Deepika and Sonam debuted in Bollywood on the same day, with Om Shanti Om and Saawariya releasing simultaneously in 2007. Also, Sonam was rumoured to be dating Ranbir Kapoor during the making of Saawariya, while Deepika and Ranbir were seeing each other until last year.

For the past few weeks, the anticipation of how KJo would get the two to appear together has been intense. However, Sonam says, "I don’t have issues with anybody. The only person I have issues with is myself, that too in my head."

Currently, Sonam is working on three projects — Anees Bazmee’s Thank You, Pankaj Kapoor’s Mausam with Shahid Kapoor and Abbas-Mustan’s remake of the Italian Job titled Players.

Stressing on how she feels the need to constantly do something “new and different” in films, she says, “After I did Saawariya and Delhi 6, everyone said Aisha was so different. Now, Mausam is being looked forward to. I do something different every year, and I like that.”
