Salman Khan admits that that he wouldn’t mind doing

Dus Ka Dum 3

if Sony Entertainment officials want him back. “My contract got over after

Dus Ka Dum 2

ended last year. It was fun. I enjoyed connecting with my audience. If Sony wants to do the show with me, I’m open to the idea because I share a great relation with them. They’re fun to work with,” he says.

At the time of going to press, the top officials from Sony Entertainment channel were said to be in a meeting with the actor to decide the fate of the show and, if he agrees, the work fee.

Money matters

Reportedly, the actor was offended with the channel since he felt his show had been sidelined after Amitabh Bachchan agreed to come back to

Kaun Banega Crorepati 4

on Sony. The actor’s show, slated to start in September, was pushed to a future date in December or January, which forced him to take on

Bigg Boss 4

.

Khan has recently been appointed as the new host of the aforementioned show on Colors. The actor plans to have more fun outside the house than inside. “I can’t imagine myself locked up inside that house because if I went in, there could be ‘others’ who would have a problem. I don’t know whom I’d like to see inside the house. I’ve never been a Peeping Tom in my life. I don’t speak about my personal life and here I’ll be keeping tabs on other people’s personal space,” he says, informing that he has followed the show closely for two seasons. He agreed to do the show since his mother Salma and sisters, Alvira and Arpita, are also fans of the show.

Wasn’t money the lure? “I can’t count beyond

chhuttas

(change). I don’t know numbers at all, whether you talk TRPs or work fees,” says Khan.

Quiz him on the traits he plans to adopt from the previous hosts of the show, Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan, and Khan jokes, “I’ve got Mr Bachchan’s goatee already. Now, if you want me to wear Shilpa’s dresses,

main toh nanga hi ho jaoonga

(I’ll be almost naked then).”

Khan often ended a segment of

Dus Ka Dum

, his first show as a TV anchor, with ‘

Break toh banta hai

boss.’ What line will he use this time? Khan puts it, “Break

toh banta hai

Bigg Boss

!”
