Sujata Reddy

Who are you rooting for now?
Niroo:Henry and Barney are the best. But Ad and Fuzzy are the underdogs.
Kapil:Yeah, Henry and Barney are the sweetest.. the most athletic couple.

So, what went wrong?
Niroo: We were not used to driving automated vehicles because of lack of the required licenses in India. The confusion lead to considerable delay.. and
we were out.

How was your experience?
Kapil: Phew! This season was the toughest. The tasks required plenty of brainpower. We were on our toes for 40 hours at a stretch. It was physically and emotionally taxing.

Which was the toughest task?
Niroo:
Driving an automated vehicle.
Kapil:Eating a bowl of bugs. It made me puke. I drank gallons of water afterwards to wash off the taste.

Which task had you cringing?
Niroo:Eating a bowl of fried bugs, small lizards and scorpions. It’s a delicacy in some regions but I didn’t enjoy it. But if need be, I’d eat it again and maybe not even cringe!
Kapil:We were also required to eat fermented tofu.. it smelt worse than the gutters in India. Even the smell gave me the creeps.

What next?
Niroo: I want to participate in MTV Roadies.. but there’s a lot of politics involved. I’d also love to be on the Survivor series.

I tried to get into the Bigg Boss House but they wanted bigger celebrities. Never mind, I’m still chasing the production house Endemol. I am primarily an actor, so Bigg Boss would help get me noticed.
Kapil: I want to be on Roadies too. My dad and I were chosen out of 10,000 applicants, so kuch toh baat hogi hummein. My friends think that after Amazing Race, Roadies would be a piece of cake.

Any eligible girls for Kapil on the show?
Niroo: There were only three girls in our team. I wouldn’t want my son to get hitched to Barney.. neither Mai, a model from Thailand. Natalie, Miss Universe 2005, was the sweetest but she’s married. I’d still choose her for Kapil. There was an Indian girl too.. Neena, but she’s older than him.
Kapil: Let me tell you, the ‘pretty’ women looked horrid while performing tasks. But I bonded with Tanya, a heiress.

Aida from Malaysia, Natalie and Pailin from Thailand were also nice. I’d like to take Pailin on a date. Natalie is married and was more the decorative prop.. a cute Barbie doll. I only used to take diet tips from her.

The prize money is much lesser than the original series in America. Any complaints?
Niroo: We knew that before we went on the show, so I’m not complaining. It wouldn’t be ethical.
Kapil: I went on the show for the experience not the money.
