Apart from burning the mid-night oil for her newly instituted award show that takes place next week, Ekta Kapoor is starting three new shows over the next three months. And none of them are for Star Plus, the channel with which she revived her relations last year. Kapoor is producing one show each for Imagine, Sony ntertainment and Colors. The details of the shows for Imagine and Colors are still being worked upon.

However, her prime time show for Sony Entertainment called Bade Ache Lagte Hain will go on the floors soon. The love story of a middle-aged couple is expected to star Ekta’s blue-eyed actors — Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor as the second leads. Though the search for a young couple is still on.

Apart from Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment and a track in Balika Vadhu on Colors last year, Sakshi hasn’t been seen in the lead role in any show.

Meanwhile, Ram has been busy with the shoot of Agent Vinod. Before which, he hosted two seasons of Rakhi Ka Swayamvar and Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega on Imagine. He was also seen in Basera. However, none matched the success he saw with Kasamh Se on Zee TV for over five years.

For this show, the soap-queen has roped in one of her top directors Swapna Joshi, who is also the co-producer of Rang Badalti Oodhani on Star One. Joshi is known to set up shows for various producers in the industry including her husband, Yash Patnaik.

When asked, Ekta refused to comment, but sent a text message with a smiley. However, a source close to her production team, confirmed that the show is underway, and will occupy a prime time slot on Sony Entertainment. It is expected to go on air in the last week of March or the first half of April. On being contacted Ram said, “It’s too early to comment. You must wait and watch. As of now, I have multiple offers from films also, which I’m considering.”
