Indian television is set to get a Hollywood twist with several international shows making their way to the small screen here. From reality to comedy, and drama to thrillers — a vast range of entertainment is in store for people who love foreign shows. Here are a few to look forward to.

Madam Secretary Season 1

What: United States Secretary of State, Elizabeth Faulkner McCord gets an offer from the President that she can't refuse. She ends up balancing her family life and office politics.

The Americans Season 3

What: Set during the Cold War period in the 1980s, The Americans is the story of Elizabeth and Philip Jennings, two Soviet KGB officers posing as a married American couple with a FBI counter-intelligence agent as their neighbour.

The Hero — Wake Up Call: Season 2

What: Dwayne Johnson will help people, who face challenges in their lives, whether sports teams that don’t gel or business owners struggling to survive.

Agent Carter Season 1

What: Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the show shares continuity with the films of the franchise. This series features the Marvel Comics character Peggy Carter, with Hayley Atwell reprising her role from the film series, as she balances doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark while trying to navigate life as a single woman in 1940s America.

What: A British period drama series that will depict the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants in the post-Edwardian era.

Suits Season 4 and 5

What: Antics of hot shot Manhattan corporate lawyer Harvey Specter and his protégé Mike Ross will take a new turn as relationships between Mike, Harvey and Rachel undergo a shift.

The Voice Season 8

What: This singing reality show won the Best Competition Reality Emmy 2014, beating shows like The Amazing Race and Dancing With The Stars, among others.
