We love you Kaley Cuoco! Not just for giving Penny, a proof that any girl can fit in with a bunch of nerdy boys, but also for giving us our first look into what the very highly anticipated FRIENDS reunion will be like. The Big Bang Theory star posted a picture of the cast of her own show with everyone from 90’s hit sit com FRIENDS and the fans are going crazy.
The picture has Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer but unfortunately, no Mathew Perry (sorry Chanadler Bong fans). Joining them are Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and of course Kaley Cuoco.
This is just a snippet of what is the filming of NBC’s two-hour special honouring veteran director James Burrow where several TV casts from past and present attended the celebration. It will premiere on February 21.
Perry, however, was in London where he is rehearsing for his upcoming play, The End of Longing. But all hope is not lost as there will be a pre-recorded message to be included during the taping.
David Schwimmer told E! News, “I wish I could say it was going to be a reunion…[but it’s a] 5/6 reunion. Sure I’m sad, but I’m happy for him. He’s doing a play in London and it’s thrilling…I did one there and it was fantastic.”
The news of this ‘reunion’ was indeed blown out of proportion but now it seems it is indeed not going to be what many fans had expected. This will not be another episode of the show but basically a coming together of many TV actors to pay homage to a director. Sigh.
But we guess that makes us look forward to it as well, eh?
