Finally we have news from one of the abandoned plotlines of Game of Thrones with the first look of Bran Stark now out. After missing from the show for a year, Bran (played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) will return next season, looking... umm... older.

Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first look of Bran Stark from season six of Game of Thrones. Bran was last seen on the popular show in season 4 finale where he enters the bat cave (lol no, more like a crow cave) to meet the Three-Eyed-Raven. The old hermit (who will now be played by Max von Sydow) tells him that he may never walk again but he will fly (He will use is Warg abilities to enter a dragon’s head or maybe a crow’s... we hope it is a dragon).
Here’s how Bran has looked through the years:
During his break, the 16-year-old actor was busy with his studies. Earlier this year, confirming his return to the show, he told Irish Examiner, “I can’t say a lot, but I am back this season and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran,” he said. “He has some interesting visions.”
In a footage released by HBO earlier this month, we saw a tattered and tired looking Daenerys, prominent and poised Ramsay and Cersei who’s just lucky to be alive. Season six is set to premiere in April 2016.
