So what if they managed to keep the wedding of the year the biggest secret till the end. We've waited for years for these two superstars -- Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux -- to say 'I Do', and when the news was eventually broken on Thursday night, we couldn't help but take a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Everyone best remembers her for her role as Rachel Green in hit comedy TV show FRIENDS. And not just her, the rest of the five characters -- Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe -- have stayed with us all these years. It has been 10 years since the show stopped airing and here's taking a look at where they all are right now.
Rachel Green/Jennifer Aniston
JenAn was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role in Cake, last year. She has been doing a lot of rom-coms since saying goodbye to friends. Before sealing the deal with Justin, she also dated Vince Vaughn, John Meyer, Tate Donovan and Adam Duritz. 2015 will see the release o f her film She Is Funny That Way.
Ross Geller/David Schwimmer
Schwimmer has been working a lot with the theatre since leaving FRIENDS. He was loved for his role in Band of Brothers and will now play Robert Kardashian, father of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, in upcoming TV show, American Crime Story.
Joey Tribbiani/Matt LeBlanc
Perhaps the most successful of the lot after Jennifer, Matt LeBlanc has Emmys after Emmys (and a Golden Globe) for his work in Episodes, a comedy TV show where he plays himself. He split with actor Andrea Anders in January this year.
Monica Geller/Courtney Cox
Cox has been with TV show Cougar Town since 2009 for which she earned her first Golden Globe nomination. She is currently filming for Mother’s Day which will come out in 2016.
Chandler Bing/Matthew Perry
Perry was the co-creator, co-writer, executive producer and star of sitcom Mr Sunshine, which ran for just one season from 2011-12. He currently stars in the sitcom The Odd Couple which was renewed for a second season this year.
Phoebe Buffay/Lisa Kudrow
Perhaps the most underappreciated of the lot. She did small roles in movies like P.S. I Love You and Easy A. However, her show Web Therapy is currently in its fourth season. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality-Program for the series Who Do You Think You Are in 2012.
