Ekta KapoorTalk once was that Ekta Kapoor had a feud with the Star group and they had moved their separate ways after Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ended.

Eventually, Kapoor’s only shows remaining on the channel were Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna and Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil, which also ended recently. The shows were shifted from their evening slots to noon slots last year during March and April. That, apparently, soured the relations between the channel and Kapoor’s Balaji Productions further.

Though after Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil and Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna, the buzz is that the channel and the producer have buried the hatchet and have planned to do some new shows together. It’s also known that the producer has settled for a noon slot, given that the prime time evening slots had all been taken up.

When asked Kapoor, she says, “I will never eye the noon slot. I have made shows for prime time and will always be there. I am making four shows at the moment and I don’t know which one is for Star Plus.”
