House of Cards Season 4 trailer: Underwood vs Underwood, who’ll win?
The show, starring Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, will be back on March 4.
The most intense presidential run in television history will soon be back, and from the looks of it, it will be more brutal than ever. Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming fourth season of hit political TV drama show House of Cards on Wednesday. Take a look:
The show, starring Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, will be back on March 4. In the series, Spacey and Wright play Frank and Claire Underwood, a power hungry couple, racing for the Oval Room and are ready to do anything for it. The two characters, who are sometimes portrayed in white, sometimes grey but mostly black light, fell apart last season after Claire walked out on Frank, clearly fed up of his insane ways.

In the beginning of the trailer, it seems as though they are meeting to (maybe) finalise a divorce. We can hear Frank’s voice telling us what all he had to go through in his life to be where he is. He says, “You have no idea what it means to have nothing. You don’t value what we have achieved. I’ve had to fight for everything my entire life.” What follows then is a fast paced montage of all things that will happen this season with an incredibly intense music playing in the background. We see a lot of men and women hooking up, thick wads of cash being exchanged and Frank seemingly getting abused by someone.
At the end, Claire says, “I saw a future, our future.” To which Frank replies, “We had a future until you started destroying it.” Like we said, intense.
