Rumour mills might be abuzz with speculation about small screen’s superstar Mohit Raina planning to tie the knot with his rumoured flame and co-actor Mouni Roy, but the latter has completely rubbished any such possibility.
"To set the records straight, I am not getting married,” clarified Mouni, when asked about her wedding plans.
Recent reports suggested that Mouni, who shared a sizzling chemistry with Raina in the popular show Mahadev (where she played the role of Sati) will tie the knot this month. And now, Mouni’s re-entry in the show as well as pictures of her hanging out with Raina at various parties in Mumbai, has further fuelled the rumour. Mouni, however, quashes it all saying that she has “no plans to get married to anybody now."
When asked about her Valentine’s Day plans, she says, “My dad passed away last year… people don’t bother to find out what’s actually happening in my life, but they speculate about everything else."
Surprisingly, the actor, who rose to fame as Krishna Tulsi in Ekta Kapoor’s cult show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has always been quite open about her relationships in the past. In fact, she had even participated in the reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh in 2009 with her then-boyfriend, Gaurav Chopra. But now, she is in no mood to discuss her love life. “My personal life is my own, and I don’t like to talk about it,” she says. However, the only thing that uplifts her mood is her comeback to Mahadev. “I am very excited to be back on the show,” she says.
