While the seventh season of the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss will soon go on air, there’s a lot of buzz about the participants on board. Sources say that actors Vatsal Sheth, Hazel Keech and Kamya Punjabi have been signed for the upcoming season of the popular TV reality show.

Salman is known for recommending people close to him, and the channel usually takes his suggestions seriously. There were reports last year that Salman had urged the makers to get Mahek Chahal on the show. An insider reveals, “Salman has apparently named two actors he feels will be apt for the show. Having worked with Vatsal and Hazel in Heroes (2008) and Bodyguard (2011) respectively, he feels this opportunity will give their careers a big boost.”

Ask Vatsal if Salman has recommended his name and he says, “I don’t know if he has recommended me. I haven’t asked him, but I am sure it must be bhai (Salman). He’s always been supportive and he treats me like a younger brother. I am currently doing Mental with him.” Talking about his confirmation for Bigg Boss, he adds, “I’m in talks with the makers. As I’m also considering a film offer, I need time to work out things before taking a final call.”

While Hazel was not reachable, Kamya apparently has quit her show, Ek Jaan, to be a part of Bigg Boss. With her personal life being in news recently, she might add to the list of the controversial participants seen on the show in the past seasons.
