All set to wed next month, love birds Deepika Singh aka Sandhya of the TV drama, Diya Aur Baati Hum and the show’s director, Rohit Goyal’s relationship started with fights, reveals the bride-to-be.

"We used to have a lot of disagreements, but he (Rohit) groomed me so well, and has been the driving force behind popularising my character on screen. I never thought I’d fall for him because ours was a relationship of respect. He was my guru and I address him as ‘Sir’. I’m so used to calling him that, that I’ll continue to address him as ‘Sir’, even after our marriage," she says.

The Delhi girl, however, says that she had no wedding plans till about a month ago. “Rohit has been a big support... when I wanted to buy a house, and in helping with my sister’s wedding. Over time, we developed feelings for each other. Then one day I got an SMS from him, saying, ‘

Agar mere jaisa koi ladka mile toh shaadi karogi

?’ I was surprised because he’s very shy and I never expected him to make the first move!" says Deepika, adding, "He is one person I can be myself with, and would want to spend my whole life with."

The actor adds that it was her wish of spending more time with Rohit that made her decide on the marriage so quick. "The environment is very professional on the sets, and we were hardly getting time for ourselves. So we thought,

aaj nahin toh kal shaadi toh karni hi hai, toh abhi kar lete hai

!" she says.
