A spa visit and binging on her favourite chicken curry was all that Mona Vasu did after she won Mona Vasuthe Sony reality show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. "I could barely eat. I ended up with an upset tummy," rues Vasu. The actress has lost her appetite and six kilos of weight after the soybean and rice diet in the camp for two months.

“My brother says I look anorexic,” she laughs. Though the actress had gone to the jungle with a firm determination to rough it out in the wild with physical challenges, she says, it turned out to be a psychology class. “It was a test of patience and emotional stability. Along the way I also learnt to cook,” she smiles.

Vasu also found friends like Ishq Bector, Chitrashi Rawat, Aman Verma and Mika on the show. However, she doesn’t seem keen to keep in touch with Chetan Hansraj and Marc Robinson. She doesn’t wish to work with Akashdeep Sehgal again. “Akash has little respect for women. I can’t stoop to his level.”

For now, Vasu wants to take off on a vacation and has plans to buy a dream house in Versova with her prize money, Rs 1 crore. She says, “I want to gift the house to my parents who stay in Delhi. I’ve been staying alone in Mumbai for five years and now I want them to stay with me.”
