He has not stepped into Bollywood yet but Just Dance contestant Karan Pangali, the Hrithik Roshan look alike, wants to foray into movies with the superstar.

The 19-year old dancer, who hails from San Francisco, says people believe he is related to Hrithik. "Bollywood is a passion of mine. I feel Hrithik and I can make a smashing duet not because we can dance well but because of the fact that I resemble him a lot. My e-mail is flooded with queries whether I belong to his family?

"I am an ardent fan of Hrithik and when I watched him doing 'ek pal ka jeena' in 'Kaho Na pyaar hai', I decided that I will be there with him one day," he told PTI.

Being born and brought up In London, Pangali has a long association with Bollywood. "My mother introduced me to Hindi Cinema when I was a baby. I grew up watching films of 90s like Kuch Kuch Hota hai, Dil to Pagal Hai and many more. The various human emotions and expressions attached to it have inspired me to take up dancing," he said.

Pangali is a trained dancer in Bollywood dance, Kathak and hip-hop and with the Star Plus show he wants to glorify Indian classical dance. "I have dedicated my life for Indian dance. I want to glorify classical Indian dance because it's losing its charm in the amidst of technicalities of Western dance," he said.

Pangali, who has made a huge fan following with the show, feels that the audience love has made him more confident. "I take them as a compliment. It gives me confident and motivates me to perform better each time. It's overwhelming for me because I have no-one here in Mumbai," he said.

He gave his first live performance in Delhi recently along with fellow contestants Meher Malik and Surjeet.
