All eyes on former X-Factor contestants for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest Baku, the Capital of Azerbaijan, Eurasia, is going to present a glitzy and sparkling front to the world with the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, which meets its finale this Saturday.
An epic battle of plastic pop-pitting performers from 42 nations, the event had its first semi-final on Tuesday, which saw Dublin’s twin brothers known as Jedward, steal the show with their popular number, Waterline.
Having successfully qualified for the final, if they win, they might join the ranks of famous group ABBA and singer Celine Dion who got their first major breaks after winning the contest for Sweden and Switzerland respectively.
Other acts to make it to the final include the Russian grannies - the Buranovskiye Babushki, Romania’s Zaleilah, Cyprus’ La La Love and Albania’s Suus. Acts from Hungary, Iceland, Denmark, Greece, and Moldova have also qualified for the final,
