The grandmaster of Dance India Dance, Mithun Chakraborty, is relieved because he does not have to do the ‘dirty job’ anymore. He hated eliminating the contestants. The interactivity phase of Dance India Dance will soon begin, whereby eliminations will be decided by ‘janta janardhan’. Says a source, “This time, each contestant is better than the other. Hence, it used to be really tough for dada to zero down on the weak performances.”

But now that the public voting is about to begin, Dada is very happy that he has been relieved off this burden. “The disappointment in the eyes of the eliminated contestants used to pain my heart a lot. Now I can sit back, relax, enjoy and cheer the show a lot more,” quips the veteran actor.

The upcoming episode will see the selection of ‘Behtareen 12’. In this wild card episode, apart from the eight contestants who have already been selected, grandmaster will give an opportunity to the eliminated contestants and make a place in the ‘top 12’. These 12 contestants will be ultimately vying for the much sought after ‘Sunehri taqdeer ki topi’. Cool!
