After her Bigg Boss victory, one would have thought that Juhi Parmar would do a daily soap, but she has chosen an alternate medium. She will be acting in producer-director Sanjay Jha’s new play, Accha Toh Hum Milte Hai. Juhi says, “I had been approached for plays earlier as well, but as I was busy with soaps, I couldn’t make time for them. And the scripts weren’t exciting either. Now with Bigg Boss behind me, it seems like the best time to do a play.”
She is excited about performing for a live audience, as also working with her co-star Asif Sheikh. “I did the show Chanda Kanoon with him and our pairing was liked by the audience. He is a very talented actor. The play revolves around the relationship of a married couple. I enjoyed the script which is very realistic.” The play premieres April end.
Juhi is looking for a good role on television as well. “With mature love stories trending on TV, it would be the right time for my comeback.” She claims her fans have been asking her to do a TV show soon. Ask how she spent the Bigg Boss prize money and she says, “I haven’t received it yet as they will pay me after a stipulated amount of time post the show. I would invest a major portion for my future kids.”
