Kapil Sharma apologised to his fans for the foul language he used in his tweets to Kamal R Khan.
Speaking about the recent spat he had with KRK, Kapil said, "I apologise to my fans for using foul language in my tweets. I should not have used such words when I responded to the filth that this man was talking on Twitter."
Watch:"I am here to entertain, not fight," says Kapil Sharma
Further speaking on KRK, the TV star said, "I don't know this man. He doesn't have anything better to do. He was using bad language and I happened to react. I am human and can take only as much."
The fight started with the Deshdrohi actor mocking Kapil over his scheduled Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films (the film now will go to floors without Kapil). Things soured when the actor blamed the comedian of threatening him through a ‘Don’.
Kamaal R Khan tweeted the mobile number of the ‘don’, who called him and asked him to stay away from Kapil.
"I think the man got what he wanted - publicity. But I wonder if he doesn't know acting, why does he have to resort to such gimmicks. He could open a clothes' shop, the business offers a lot of potential," Sharma added.
Speaking about the cancellation of his contract with Yash Raj Films, the Comedy Nights host and producer said it was a mutual decision and there was no bad blood between the two sides. "I want to keep Comedy Nights my first priority and we couldn't work out a schedule that accomodates the needs of both te film and the TV show. So we decided to call it off."
"I am planning a film though and we might make an announcement soon," Kapil added.
When asked about the hottest actor he would like to work with, Kapil was ready with his choice - Deepika Padukone. "Wo lambi hai, sundar hai," he added. Reminded that if Katrina Kaif has the same traits, Kapil quipped, "Wo angrezi bahut bolti hai, mujhe klaha samajh aaega."
The list of guests he wants to invite to his show includes political stalwarts Narendra Modi and Lalu Prasad.
Kapil Sharma is in Delhi for a live performance in collaboration with Red FM.
