After four years of floor-breaking dance moves and judging (and breaking into a dance) with some of the best dancers on Indian television, filmmaker Karan Johar bid adieu to the latest season of celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded as a celeb judge.
Johar, 43, first came as a judge on the show from season five in 2012. He took to Twitter and said it was a "hugely emotional day" and thanked the team for making him feel special.
"Was a hugely emotional day for me on the sets of #JhalakReloaded yesterday... Thank you to the entire team for making me feel so special...," he wrote.
Actor Shahid Kapoor, who co-judges the Colors show, tweeted that Johar was irreplaceable on the show.
"@karanjohar you will be sorely missed on the sets of #JhalakReloaded. No one can replace you. Thank you for everything."
The filmmaker, who is producing Kapoor's upcoming film "Shaandaar", replied writing, "will miss you lots!!!! Keep the flag flying......#JhalakReloaded"
Dancer Lauren Gottlieb and choreographer Ganesh Hegde are fellow judges on the show this season, which is hosted by Manish Paul.
Johar's next directorial venture is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
