Actor Krushna Abhishek has been open about his relationship with actor Kashmira Shah, but he says that the never-ending curiosity about his marriage sometimes drives him up the wall.
“It bothers me when people keep asking when I am getting married and I end up telling them all that ‘It will happen. I am too young for it’. I don’t get annoyed with anyone, but it does get really awkward for me,” says Krushna, who has been in a relationship with Kashmira for over nine years now.
“Had my girlfriend been from the non-glamour world, people would have never asked this question, but she, too, is an actor. So, I understand the curiosity that comes with it,” he adds.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old actor, who has been associated with the comedy genre on TV and films from quite some time, admits that the concern about being typecast vanishes when fat pay checks come knocking on the door.
“When you get pay checks of Rs 50 lakh, then nothing bothers you. What is the problem in doing only comedy? The audience accepts us and wants to see us,” he says, adding that he knows his limit while doing comedy.
“I have to draw a line when I see that the audience is not giving an enthusiastic response. When you feel you are going over board, you should have the skill to change the act in a jiffy,” he says.
