For all those who wanted to see actor Kushal Tandon and his Bulgarian partner Elena Boeva re-enter dance reality show, Nach Baliye 5, through the wild card round, there’s bad news. Kushal, who’s performance in the TV show, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, has garnered him a huge fan following, will not participate in the wild card episode.
“I’m not in the mood to be a wild card entry,” declares the 27-year-old. When asked if he took the decision because he felt he didn’t deserve to get out of the show so soon, he winks and says, “My purpose of coming on the show was to let people know who the real Kushal is. I wasn’t expecting to go out so soon as I know I am very popular. I don’t know what happened. But now I feel relieved as doing Nach with Ek Hazaron Mein... was very taxing.”
Meanwhile, Kushal has his eyes set on Bollywood now. He says, “I have a contract which will end in six months. Then, I’ll be able to talk about my films. But the fact is, I want to make it big in Bollywood.” Drawing a comparison between TV and films, Kushal says, “TV gave me stardom and it’s a great platform for entering films as you learn so much.” Kushal also reveals he’s not planning to marry Elena in the near future. “I think I am too young. I have lots to achieve before I decide to marry. So I think at least five years is what I need.”
