Mahesh BhattDirector Mahesh Bhatt will soon be seen on a Pakistani television channel with his own chat show, Straight Talk with Mahesh Bhatt, Mid-Day reported.

The show will be aired on Hum TV and will be produced by Sevy Ali who had previously worked with Bhatt on an Indo-Pak film, Nazar.

The filmmaker will get an opportunity to tête-à-tête with the who’s who of Pakistan including Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Asif Ali Zardari, Wasim Akram and Parvez Musharraf.

Sevy told Mid-Day, “This will be the first time an Indian personality will interview top Pakistani figures. It's not a normal chat show but in an interview format.”

Earlier Bobby Darling had co-hosted a Pakistani show with Begum Nawazish.

“We will have eight shows with eight celebs. We are also in talks with some Indian channels to air the shows here,” Sevy told the tabloid.

“You know Mahesh. He might take liberties and ask all sorts of questions. The interviews will be no-holds-barred. Bhattsaab was keen to work this show as he wants to strengthen Indo-Pak ties,” he told the tabloid.

Mahesh Bhatt said, “I have always been a bit of journalist and enjoyed working on the TV show Haqueeqat based on human rights violations. I am looking forward to the talk show.”

He further said that he wants to extract the real story behind the individuals in the context of historic personal reflections.
