Pop star Miley Cyrus has defended her decision to work with Woody Allen amid his alleged child molestation scandal, insisting she will not judge someone until she knows the whole story.

The 23-year-old Wrecking Ball hitmaker was slammed by Allen’s estranged son Ronan Farrow when she signed up to star in the Annie Hall filmmaker’s new comedy drama series Crisis in Six Scenes.

He was disgusted his father still has so much star support after he and his mother, Mia Farrow, accused Woody of sexually assaulting his adopted daughter Dylan.

But Cyrus insists she only saw one side of Allen, and she never regretted taking on the role, reported Variety.

“I live a similar life to Woody - I live a public life. Until I know someone and I know their story, I never really judge anyone. That’s kind of how I went into it,” she said.

“From the way I saw him with his family, I never saw him be anything but an incredible person and a really great dad. People might slam me for saying that. I’m sure it was a hard time for that family. My family has been through hard things, and I think everyone’s suffering is different.”

The singer really enjoyed working with Allen, because she has always been a big fan of his movies.

“I loved working with Woody. You do, like, two takes. He just wants to go home and have dinner with his wife. One night it was 5.30, and the camera operator wanted to do another take. He goes, ‘I can’t dedicate my entire life to making movies’.”
