Actor Shama Sikander, who became popular through the show Ye Meri Life Hai, says she does few projects because she wants good content.

“I have said no to a lot of things. Unless anything really excites me, I don’t do it. Money does not excite me. Money is a basic requirement for all of us, but one has to be mad enough to say no to money and to say no to all of this,” says Shama.

On the small screen, she was last seen in fantasy television show, Seven. She has also had her small share of big screen space in films such as Prem Aggan, Mann and Dhoom Dadakka.

After a hiatus of two years, during which she was busy working on her fashion label, Shama will now be seen playing an angel to the devil in the upcoming show, Baal Veer, which will air on SAB TV, next month onwards. “I’m extremely excited about this... It has been almost two years but you know how it is... once an actor always an actor. So I had to come back to acting,” says Shama.
