Her purpose of entering the Bigg Boss house is more or less served. But Nihita Biswas is highly disappointed at exiting the show right in the first week. “It had begun to feel like a picnic with so many lovely women and Shakti (Shakti Kapoor) for company. We were doing our work, having fun and just beginning to understand each other when I was asked to leave because of the low vote count,” she says.
Nihita, on entering the show, had promised to speak at lengt,h without holding anything in her heart about her husband, the infamous criminal Charles Sobhraj. Within the first few hours, she had been asked several questions, including whether she’d consummated her marriage till date or not.
“I’d said that I’ll be frank about him. And I was. The world assumes he’s a criminal but no one has ever been able to prove anything. He loves me too dearly and I love him too. That’s what gave me the strength to stand up and speak about our relationship so clearly,” says the 22-year-old Nihita, who is over two decades younger than her husband, currently in jail. She adds that it was he who had encouraged her to participate in the show.
“Charles was really enthusiastic about the offer. I visit him regularly; I look after our house and all his work outside the jail. He just asked me to drop everything and take up the show. So I did.” The youngest participant on the Colors reality show is on her way to Nepal because she now can’t resist staying away from her home and husband. What if she’s called back to re-enter the house as the wild card entry? “I’d do it,” she chirps. “And when I do that, trust me, I’ll be better prepared to tackle a lot of women in that house who attacked me for no reason in the beginning.”
