No more staying in the dark, Marvel’s Daredevil approved for Season 3

Marvel’s Daredevil is set to return to Netflix for a third season, according to executive producer Jeph Loeb who revealed the news at the recent the Comic-Con panel for Netflix’s upcoming Marvel drama Luke Cage.

“If you like Daredevil, there’s going to be even more Daredevil in season three,” Loeb said, during Netflix and Marvel’s first joint panel on Thursday, July 21.

The series, starring Charlie Cox as blind superhero Daredevil Matt Murdock -- attorney by day and vigilante by night -- was Netflix’s first Marvel show, and has since opened doors for a string of Marvel-based series, including Luke Cage,Jessica Jones and the upcoming Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher.

Season three will return in 2017 with showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez set to continue executive producing the series.
