The TV show, Madhubala takes inspiration from Bollywood, both on and off screen. The show incorporates many famous real life instances involving B-town stars. The most recent one has a striking resemblance to Salman Khan’s life. On the show, Vivian D’Sena’s character, superstar RK, mows down a man and has a police case registered against him, much like the Dabangg star’s infamous hit-and-run case in 2002. The makers have added many facets of Salman’s personality, to their lead character RK, including his unpredictable behaviour, love for bodybuilding and bikes.

RK’s personality is whimsical and unpredictable. In one scene, he urges a police inspector to do push-ups. “That’s a regular bad boy trait. He knows what he wants in life and how to punish people who have messed with him.”
A self-confessed Salman Khan fan, Vivian claims that he wasn’t asked to emulate the actor. “There is only one Salman and no matter how hard you try, no one can be like him.
