The channel, Colors, has already announced Season two of Guinness World Records — Ab India Todega. And host Preity Zinta, who made her telly debut with it, will be happy to be back on the show. “It will return, but only in 2012, since this year I already have a lot on my plate. Next season, I’ll make sure I sit pretty on a chair. I’m not going to be on my feet 10 hours a day, turning left, right and looking dead centre as the crew adjusts a million lights,” she laughs.
The one-hour show saw over 70 records being attempted by Indians, sometimes even pitted against international record holders. It got high TRPs and placed many adventure seekers in the Guinness Book of World Records. “Next time I’m going to attempt a record too, maybe I’ll jump off the 40th floor of a building or try to pull off some crazy stunt like that,” says Preity. “I wanted to do it this season, but it wasn’t possible.”
But that’s not it, as the actor admits that there are other shows in the pipeline too. “I’m dying to tell you the details, but you’ll have to wait for an announcement,” she says.
And what’s happening to the TV reality show Behind The Seams that she was producing and hosting? “Now that we have a brand new team, we’ll have to tweak the concept a bit,” says Preity. “We’ll have to wait for a year and two, shoot some more footage and turn the show into a Behind The Seams with Kings XI maybe. But it will definitely be on air.”
