In a chat show with film critic Anupama Chopra, the Mary Kom star revealed that she “never watched her work” except the day of the trial and changed the channel if she sees herself on TV.
The 34-year-old star was made to watch a scene from her 2004 movie, Fashion, in which she played a model, Meghna Mathur.
When Anupama complimented her on her ‘killer’ look in the scene in which she reveals about having an abortion, the PeeCee burst out laughing and said, “You know I never watch myself back. Like not all.”
“Except on the day of the trial. And I deliberately change the channel if I see it on TV. I can’t see myself back there,” she revealed.
Talking of characters she has played in the movies, Priyanka said that each one of them was a “metamorphosis.”
Chopra, who also featured in this year’s Forbes’ list of highest paid TV actresses, opened up about how her grandmother used to feel that Priyanka would never get married.
“My dadi always used to say ‘koi shaadi nahi karega tere se, khaana nahi banana aata, ghar par kuch nahi karti,” she said.
The actor is currently seen in the second season of Quantico, in which she plays Alex Parrish, a CIA agent.
The Barfi! star will be next seen essaying a negative role in the upcoming Hollywood movie, Baywatch, alongside actors Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Pamela Anderson and Jon Bass.
The Seth Gordon directed movie will hit theatres on May 19 next year.
