With Rajshri 'Saloni' Thakur of Saat Phere deciding to take a break from her show, the creative unit had no other option than to bring in a major change in the show.
With Rajshri opting to be out from the show for a while, they had to bring in a new face that could play the lead. According to sources, Saloni’s daughter Saawri will play the main character post the leap. And the production house and channel have zeroed down on the Mumbai girl Rachna Parulkar to essay the role of grown up Saawri.
A source reveals that Rachna who is a look-alike of Rajshri Thakur will play the grown-up Saawri. A student of Mumbai’s Mithibai College Rachna has just completed her 12th. She is also a very good kathak dancer. With Rajshri taking a break from the show, she will now play the central role in the show. Both the daughters will grow up and one is planning to bring in two male leads opposite the two girls. Their entry is expected to air in the coming two weeks.
History will repeat itself on the show post the leap. Saloni’s daughter Saawri will have to face discrimination in every walk of her life as she is dark and Amrit is fair. The story henceforth will now concentrate on the two girls but more on the life and the struggle of the dark girl.
