TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani, who is making his film debut with director Ken Ghosh’s next, injured himself on the sets recently. An insider from the unit reveals that the actor injured his radial nerve on the arm while performing an action scene. “He kept shooting with the pain, and didn’t realise the gravity of the injury until he consulted the doctor a couple of days after the shoot,” says the insider.

The source adds that ignoring the injury was a conscious decision as Rithvik fretted that if it turned out to be serious, his injury would disturb the schedule, and the continuity of the scene he was shooting for.

“He saw the doctor after the schedule was over, and was shocked to know how intense the injury was. He is currently under treatment and medication,” adds the source.

When contacted, Rithvik confirms the development, and says, “The scene required me to exert a lot of force, and I didn’t realise the seriousness of the injury until I met the doctor, and found out that I have injured my radial nerve.”
