Salman Khan made his small screen debut with Dus Ka Dum in 2008 and the show was aired for two seasons (2008 and 2009). A DNA report said on Wednesday that Sony Entertainment Television plans to bring the third season to life, with Salman at the helm again.

Sony has reportedly decided to pull the plug on its flagship show The Kapil Sharma Show due to a sharp dip in the ratings. The channel was to renew Kapil’s contract for another year for Rs 107 crore, the DNA report further said.

However, they are now in talks with Salman Khan to replace Kapil’s show with his.

If it happens, Kapil Sharma will face the first major setback since his rise to fame with Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors. Now with Sony planning to ditch Kapil, the comedian will have to strategise new deals.
