and Dipika Samson who act as sisters Roli and Simar in a popular daily soap, were recently spotted donning salt 'n' pepper hair on the sets of their show Sasural Simar Ka.

The two, who play traditional bahus, were even seen wearing chic western wear for the first time on the show. Sources revealed that the two were apparently dressed up as foreigners for an upcoming sequence.

An excited Avika says, "This is such a drastic change from our usual look! It took forever to get done with hair and makeup but I love the outfit I'm sporting. I'm dressed like yesteryear actor Helen."

Dipika was no less excited: "It's tough to sport this look as it is not easy to look convincing as a mature foreigner. It is a tedious task to wear and manage a wig in Mumbai's heat, but I like wearing this skirt and scarf. My wig had to be redone several times over!"
