Sharman Joshi is enjoying the variety of work he is doing and, what makes him even happier, is that he is getting to do what he always wanted — television. The Rang De Basanti actor will host Poker Face, a quiz show on the soon-to-be-launched channel, Real.

Joshi admits that he is jumping into the bandwagon like all the other film stars before him. But he insists that the reason is different.

“I have done theatre, cinema and was looking forward to working on TV. My audience will get to see me as the person and not the actor. There will be a strong connect and lot of fun too,” he says.
And that’s not where the fun ends. The actor is having a good time shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s Three Idiots.

“Our schedule at IIM Bangalore was really cool. We had fun with students, plus, I bonded really well with Aamir Khan, so even better.”

Next up is a serious film, Allah Ke Bande, about two slum kids and their life story. “I am dubbing for it now. After that there is Toh Baat Pucci, a light-hearted movie.”
