Known for her roles in serials such as Choodiyan, actress Shraddha Nigam has turned to designing. In partnership with ‘good friend’ actor Mayank Anand, Nigam has launched a collection of her clothes line at Mumbai’s multi-designer store, Attic. Though the duo is often seen together, Nigam insists they are not a couple. “We’re not dating. Mayank and I are very good friends and right now, we are only focussed on our business together.”

Nigam calls her partnership with Mayank a good opportunity. “He is into a lot of things — painting, acting, designing, all of it. I haven’t done any professional course in designing but some things are innate,” says Nigam, whose interest in fashion comes from her mother. “My mom studied fashion and I’d always see her stitch and sew at home. It just rubbed off on me. On the sets, I’m always telling the tailor how to get the alterations right,” she says with a laugh.
