Iss-Pyaar-Ko-Kya-Naam-Doon-features-Sanaya-Irani-opposite-Barun-Sobti-and-the-two-share-intimate-moments-every-now-and-then

Adding excitement to Diwali celebrations this year, Star Plus has planned a special event for their viewers with an extensive line-up of actors. Although the festival originally celebrates the victory of Ram over Ravan, the programme will feature many other interesting stories from Hindu mythology, including tales of Lakshmi, Ganesha, Krishna, and of course, Ram.

The five-episode special which will air on weekends will have exciting songs and dance performances, colourful sets, rich costumes and is bound by a strong narrative.

The first episode is based on the legendary story of Samudra Manthan, where Vishnu transforms into a tortoise and carries a mighty mountain on his back to churn the ocean. Actor Sanaya Irani will feature in the story as Lakshmi.

The second episode will tell the tale of a race between Ganesha and his brother Kartikeya to circle the earth.

The love between Radha and Krishna will be captured in an act put together by actors Krystle D’Souza and Karan Tacker in the third episode, while the fourth one will be based on Ram’s return from exile after slaying Ravan. Anas Rashid, Deepika Singh and Vishal Singh will be cast as Ram, Sita and Laxman respectively while Shaleen Bhanot plays Ravan.

The final episode will mark a fitting conclusion to the show with actors Barun Sobti, Krushna Abhishek, Karan Kundra, Jennifer Winget and Surpiya Pilgaonkar as hosts. Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha will join in the festivities.
