If you are bored of the kitchen politics, sari-clad women and bitching on TV, now, there’s a social thriller. Chhal ... Sheh aur Maat stars Hunar Hali and debutant Abhishek Malik in the lead.

On her recent visit to the Capital for the promotion of the Colors show, which is set in the snowy mountains of Garhwal, Hunar, who has worked in shows such as 12/24 Karol Bagh and Mukti Bandhan among others, says, “I am very excited as I am playing the main lead for the first time. One should expect a lot of suspense, drama, fun, romance, thrill and emotion from this show.” Talking about her role, the 22-year-old Delhiite says, “My character Neha is a newlywed bride but my life takes a 360 degree turn while on the honeymoon a strange man claims that I am his wife.”

Abhishek Malik, who also hails from Delhi, claims that this show is his dream debut. “I play the character of Rishi, who is a chilled out, adventure loving and easy to get along with … much like I am in real life I couldn’t have asked for a better debut than this one... My entire focus is now on this show and I am hoping people would love it.”

Actor Bhairavi Raichura, who has acted in has acted in shows such as Hum Paanch, Balika Vadhu and Sasural Genda Phool, is all excited about her maiden production, Chhal…Sheh aur Maat. “Having spent 15 years in TV, I always wanted to get into TV production. But I am not quitting acting. I had been on a break as the production of this show kept me busy,” she says.

Bhairavi can’t stop admiring her Hum Paanch co-star and actor Vidya Balan for her successful career. “I am so so happy for Vidya. She is a great human being and a wonderful actor.”
