The best thing to happen this Super Bowl, after Lady Gaga’s half time show, is definitely this. We now have our first look at the second season of Netflix’s widely popular series Stranger Things.
The short, 36-second clip begins with an old Eggo commercial of two kids fighting over the waffles. The lightness of the moment is soon compromised by eerily flickering lights and Mike screaming an upside-down Eleven’s name, who wakes up like a particular Jon Snow and is again bleeding through her nose.
The kids are back on their bikes and in Ghostbusters costumes when Dustin spots something weird outside the school.
We are also given the first glimpse of the new monster for the season, first on paper:
And then in reality:
Stranger Things, which stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and more, return on Halloween 2017.
