She has been in the industry for more than a decade now. Sudha Chandran has acted in many shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahin Kissi Roz, Sapne Saajan Ke, Prratima, K Street Pali Hill and Hum Paanch to name a few. Chandran will soon be seen in an episodic in Ghost Bana Dost (Star One). The show, that marks Milind Soman’s foray into television production, largely caters to children.

Chandran says, “I’m doing a special appearance in the show. I’ll be playing a sorceressturned-beautiful woman in one of the episodes.” The actress is also playing the role of Ammaji in Solah Singaar (Sahara One). About the show, she says, “It’s one of the successful shows on television today. Playing the role of the 70-year-old woman is quite an experience.”

Chandran also features in a few regional serials, as well. “I’m doing a show for Jaya TV called Jayam, which means victory. I’m also doing a show for Zee Gujarati. Picking up new languages is fairly easy since it’s my passion.” How does she manage portraying the vast range of multi-lingual characters? “As an actor, I think I couldn’t have asked for more. I love the variety of roles that I’m currently working in,” she remarks.

Apart from acting, the actor is a trained classical singer. She manages a chain of dance academies. “I have nine institutes all over India. I love to train those who are interested in learning the craft,” signs off the actor.
