Actor Vivian Dsena feels that television is now open to new and good content.

Actor Vivian Dsena made his small screen debut in 2008 with the daily show Kasamh Se, and became a popular name after doing shows like Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Having been a part of daily soaps and reality shows, Dsena feels that a lot has changed on TV over the last few years.

“As compared to my initial days in the TV industry, I feel we have become a lot more open to new concepts today. People are working with us and accepting us. I don’t pay attention to the TRPs but yes, we feel happy when the TRPs are good because we can judge our work and we are working hard for it,” says the actor who also participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

However, Dsena feels that there is always scope for improvement in the television industry and the kind of shows being made. “We should come up with unique and newer scripts for daily soaps. Audience must have been bored of watching the same old typical household politics, and we can already sense the growing need for new and good content,” adds the actor, who is currently playing the role of Harman Singh in a daily show.
