Music composer Anu Malik does everything with a bang. He recently danced on the sets of Sony Entertainment’s Indian Idol 6.
During the second gala round, Anu got carried away by contestant Devendra Pal Singh’s energetic performance, and couldn’t control himself. He stepped on to the stage and danced as if there was no tomorrow. Some of his moves could actually give Bollywood dancers a run for their money. An ecstatic Anu ended his impromptu performance by lifting the singer and doing a little bit of bhangra!
Shooting outdoors is always fun for TV actors who are usually stuck in a studio for most of the year. Actor Deepika Singh, Sandhya of Shashi-Sumeet’s Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus was excited to shoot in Delhi, which is also her home city. The shoots were hectic but she managed to spend some time with her family. Every day while she was in Delhi, she found a sizeable crowd outside her house that had gathered to meet their Sandhya in person. Deepika was at Jhandewaali Maata Ka Mandir where people even broke the queue for a glimpse of the star.
Daya’s a mom now!
When we need help, we tend to make our first SOS call to our mothers. Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltaa Chashmah is no different. For a sequence in the show when he landed in the police station, he made his first call to his parents. But when he failed to get through, he phoned his wife Daya played by Disha Vakani. She appears before the cops disguised as Jetha’s mother. Disha’s co-stars were pretty amazed to find her ‘aged’!
