With less than a month to go before the show begins, speculation over the names of the final ‘inmates’ of the Bigg Boss house has reached a frenzy. Not only is the channel, Colors, tightlipped, contestants have reportedly signed a contract, which restricts them from commenting on the matter. However, HT City sources out names of some of the celebrities who’ll be among the 13 contenders for the R1 crore prize.
Bollywood Actor Chunkey Pandey, who was recently seen in the films De Dana Dan and Housefull, was surprised when asked about his participation. “How do you know? Has the channel declared the list? I cannot say anything right now,” he said.
TV actor Shweta Tiwari, whose ex-husband Raja Chaudhary is a former Bigg Boss participant, is most likely to be on the show. “She is considering being on the show, and will most likely be around,” said a source from the channel. The source added that TV actor Manish Goyal, former Bollywood actor Sangeeta Bijlani and bar dancer Tarranum (who was allegedly involved with Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan) will also be on the show. When contacted, Goyal did not refute the claim, but said, “I cannot talk about it right now.”
TV actor Sarah Khan was one of the first contestants to be signed on. “After a little negotiation around the money, she immediately said yes,” said a friend. Actor Ashmit Patel, who is also participating, was forthcoming about his latest projects, but clammed up when asked about whether he will be on Bigg Boss.
While a source from Endemol, the production house of the show, confirmed that Rahul Mahajan’s wife Dimpy Ganguly will be on the show, Dimpy, denied.
