Tomorrow, Krushna Abhishek will make his exit from

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4

. In the episode shot last Thursday, the actor-comedian was shown the door on vote count. “Yes, I’ve been eliminated. Apparently, I got the least votes last week,” he confirms, pointing out that he has joked that given his low scores, instead of street dancing on the show, he’d be dancing on the street this week. “But honestly, I didn’t think I’d be out the week I’d worked the hardest.” His choreographer Robin who specialises in hip-hop is disappointed that they didn’t get a chance to exhibit their act.

“Everyone was confident we’d get a perfect 30. But instead, we got the boot,” sighs Abhishek, whose girlfriend Kashmera Shah and uncle Govinda, were special guests on tomorrow’s episode. After the elimination, Shah ranted on stage and hinted that the show was rigged. Taking up from where she left off, Krushna says, “It’s not as if I have 44 left feet. I have no problems with Renukaji (Renuka Shahane), Akhil (Kumar), Daya (Shetty) or Shekhar (Suman) but I’m a better dancer than them. I’ve performed on many shows, sometimes under tremendous pressure. But this experience has left a bitter taste.”

Apparently, his uncle who was the guest judge was asked to announce his elimination. “That was the biggest slap on both our faces since mama and I had flagged off this season with our performance four weeks ago. A guest has never been asked to announce an elimination, I wonder why my uncle got the special treatment,” he says sarcastically, admitting that Govinda was as shocked as everyone else on the sets. “Sony Entertainment really hit me in the wrong place.” Quiz him on whether the show is fixed and he says, “I don’t know if it is but there is a pattern with the eliminations. Every year, a good dancer gets thrown out early and returns as a wild card entry,” he points out. “It happened with Gauhar Khan last season, this season it could be me.”

So is the channel playing favourites? “Doesn’t every channel play favourites?” he retorts. “Star Plus favoured Karan Patel, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh when Kashmeera and I were on

because they were the channel’s faces. But in this case, I’ve worked with Sony for the last four years. I wasn’t expected to be humiliated like this. I don’t mind being thrown out early but not the way it happened.”

He’s bound by contract to perform in the wild card round but says that after what happened, he doesn’t think he can put his heart into another act on

. “I will do it for the heck of it,” he says. “Even if I’m back, I don’t know how far I will go.”
