Shivaji Satam is a household name today, thanks to his association with a popular Indian detective television series that he has starred in since 1998.

“The love for my job keeps me going. When you do something you love, you are bound to enjoy it. You never get bored,” says the actor.

Even though his show has been popular for many years now, it often gets trolled on different social media platforms for its stories and old-school treatment.

Ask the 65-year-old if he feels bad about that, and he says, “Honestly, no. It would hurt if the jokes were below the belt. But when that’s not the case, it’s fine. Who doesn’t like to make fun of others? It is like a left-handed compliment.”

Talking about his journey in the industry, he says, “I’m very laid-back. Over the years, I have seen the highs and lows of being an actor. I have grown and evolved as a person now.”
